Research Assistant & Research Associate

The Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG) is an independent Delhi- based think tank, collaborating with policy scholars and practitioners globally. We conduct cutting-edge research and offer training opportunities to build a people -centric policy ecosystem for a better India.

CPRG is currently inviting applications for the positions of Research Assistant and Research Associate for multiple research projects. These are full-time roles. Selected candidates will have to work out of our office in New Delhi.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Primary and secondary research.
• Proposal and report writing.
• Research dissemination.
• Additional research and associated assistance as required by the organization.

Eligibility:

• Research Assistant: Postgraduate in a social science discipline (55% minimum)with NET/MPhil/PhD.
• Research Associate: Postgraduate in a social science discipline (55% minimum)with NET/MPhil/PhD, and 2 years of research experience.
• Candidates with prior research experience in the field of social sciences and reasonable bilingual skills (Hindi & English) will be preferred.

Remuneration: As per industry standards.

Advertisement for Recruitment

The Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG) invites applications for the recruitment of the following positions on a rolling basis.

Fellow (Equivalent to Assistant Professor) – Total Positions – 3 (2 Unreserved, 1 Reserved).

Qualifications

The minimum qualification for the positions are:

Assistant Professor:

• A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
• A master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

Desirable qualifications include scholars having research experience in the field of social sciences and reasonable bilingual skills (one Indian language other than English).
Preference: Preference shall be given to individuals who are able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and lead collaborative research projects.
Selection Procedure: The shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo the screening process and appear for an interview before the Selection Committee.

Social Media and Public Relations Associate

A professional who provides a voice to the organization through all social and official channels forms the backbone of an organization. We are looking for a talented Social media and Public Relations Associate to administer our social media accounts and manage the organization’s communication. The profile will include developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics and to look for opportunities to increase brand exposure for the organization.

Requirements

Candidates are expected to have

• Completed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related field

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating original text and video content for our social media handles
• Managing posts and responding to followers
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
• Coordinating all public relations activities
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis
• Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, and online media
• Manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals
• Developing and executing effective communication and media relations program; design and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
• Handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement
• Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams.

Skills Required

• Hands-on experience in content management
• Knowledge of SEO,
• Keyword research and Google Analytics
• Familiarity with web design
• Ability to deliver creative content(text, image, and video)
• Should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends
• Excellent communication skills and ability to express our organization’s views creatively.
