Our Team

Dr. Ramanand is a public policy expert and the Founder-Director of the Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG) and the Future of Society Lab. With over a decade of experience, his work focuses on education policy, governance, and the social and economic implications of emerging technologies, particularly AI.

He has contributed to the development and implementation of NEP 2020, including the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), and serves on committees and advisory boards related to education, technology, and public policy. He is currently associated with FSSAI, NCTE, and three Central Universities, and serves on the curriculum revision committee at IIT Jodhpur with a focus on AI. He has previously contributed to institutions including the UGC, NCERT and the NCST.

Dr. Ramanand has convened and participated in national and international forums on AI, education, and public policy, and regularly writes for publications including The Indian Express, The Times of India, Der SPIEGEL, and The Ken. He is also the Director of the Center for Indo-European Cooperation (CIEC), a think tank based in Brussels established to support and shape the next phase of engagement between India and Europe.
