Reimagining Education in the Age of AI dialogue, held on 20 February 2026 at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi, a Main Summit Event at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, examined how artificial intelligence is reshaping education systems and the institutional changes required to prepare learners and educators for an AI-enabled future. As digital technologies increasingly influence learning environments, the discussion focused on how AI can support more personalised, inclusive, and adaptive education while ensuring that human judgement and critical thinking remain central to teaching and learning.
The session brought together policymakers, academic leaders, and industry experts to explore the evolving relationship between AI and education. Participants discussed the importance of building foundational AI literacy among teachers and students, strengthening institutional readiness, and designing education systems that can integrate emerging technologies responsibly. The conversation also highlighted the need to equip educators with the tools and training necessary to guide students in using AI effectively, while ensuring that technological adoption supports creativity, adaptability, and ethical awareness in the learning process.

During the session, CPRG also launched its report “AI in School Education,” presenting key findings on students’ engagement with AI tools and their implications for teaching practices, curriculum design, and the future of learning in India.
