Education & Learning Outcomes
Our education research focuses on strengthening India’s schooling ecosystem through evidence-based evaluation. From tracking foundational learning under NIPUN Bharat to measuring the impact of the PM-SHRI scheme, studying young adults’ reading habits with the National Book Trust (NBT), and assessing tribal education initiatives like Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), our work bridges policy design with classroom realities.
Social Policy & Inclusion
We study how flagship social welfare schemes transform lives on the ground, with a particular focus on inclusion. Our research spans the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and its role in tribal development, as well as the Jal Jeevan Mission, which seeks to deliver safe drinking water to every rural household.
AI & Digital Governance
Through our Future of Society (FoS) Initiative we explore the intersection of technology, governance, and society. Our work on AI adoption, responsible innovation, and digital governance builds pathways for India to lead in creating equitable and future-ready tech policy frameworks.
Cultural & Civilisational Studies
Our research highlights India’s diverse cultural and knowledge traditions, from field studies on the Snan Mela to documenting Oral Traditions and advancing Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). These projects aim to preserve heritage while linking it to contemporary social and policy contexts.
Governance Studies
We run initiatives that strengthen democratic processes by equipping policymakers and young leaders with knowledge, training, and exposure. Our Parliamentary Affairs Programme creates a bridge between governance, research, and citizen engagement.
