Communications and Design Associate
CPRG is currently looking for a Communications and Design Associate to join our team. This will be a full-time position. The Associate will be responsible for designing visually engaging social media posts and other digital materials. Additionally, the Associate will play a key role in developing, managing, and executing social media strategies and content plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in using digital platforms and tools to strengthen our institution’s online presence while advancing our communication objectives. A solid understanding of analytics is essential to optimise engagement and impact.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following:
- Developing attractive designs, infographics, and layouts for a variety of digital platforms.
- Creating and executing innovative social media plans that align with the institutions’s objectives and audience.
- Developing, curating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Managing a monthly content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content distribution across CPRG’s social media channels, including constructing the organisation’s communication elements like newsletter, brochures, etc.
- Preparing regular monthly reports summarising social media activities, growth, and engagement.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and incorporating those insights to improve the content design and execution.
Eligibility:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 1-2 year of work experience in a relevant position is required.

Field Investigator
CPRG invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Field Investigator under the ICSSR-supported research project titled “To understand the eco-cultural perspectives of the periodical riverfront Shravan Snan-Melas of Ayodhya and Varanasi.” The research aims to explore lesser-known Melas, focusing on the eco-cultural mapping of participants’ beliefs and practices. The objectives are twofold: to culturally map the riverfront Snan-Melas of the Shravan month and to understand the eco-cultural practices at the Saryu and Ganga rivers in Ayodhya and Varanasi. The study seeks to uncover the sustainable practices inherent in these festivals.
Location: Ayodhya
Responsibilities:
- Engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to collect accurate and comprehensive primary data.
- Coordinate and manage fieldwork logistics, including scheduling interviews, arranging visits, and ensuring timely data collection.
- Adhere strictly to ethical protocols, ensuring informed consent and maintaining confidentiality throughout data handling and storage.
- Provide logistical and organizational support for CPRG’s conferences, workshops, and other outreach events.
- Contribute to CPRG’s advocacy initiatives, including support for podcasts, interviews, and dissemination of research findings.
Requirements:
Postgraduate in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Demonstrated experience in primary data collection and data entry.
