ABOUT THE COURSE

Consulting in the social impact sector is a blend of professional expertise, and a commitment to fostering positive change. Social impact consultants work with diverse clients—nonprofits, socially responsible businesses, social movements, government agencies, and more—to help them achieve the mission of improving lives and advancing social justice.

The Certificate Course on Impact Consulting is a six-week course designed to train learners with the essential skills needed for a career in impact consulting. Through a case study-based approach, participants will navigate consulting challenges. Each session focuses on a practical approach combined with simulations and real-world scenarios learning, enabling participants to apply the concepts directly. The course will incorporate guest lectures from government officials and non-profits, designed as "Know Your Client" sessions. Offering participants insights into the needs and expectations of government clients, helping them understand how to tailor their consulting approach for the government.

By the end of the program, participants will have gained:

  • Knowledge of the important skills and tools required to be an impact consultant.
  • Ability to analyze complex impact problems using case-based methodologies.
  • The ability to provide strategic solutions tailored to the needs of both public and private sector clients.
